After reading unveiling I put together somewhat of a rebuttal to the darkness’s philosophy and examples, which while unimportant to most of you, I thought it would still be important to share A world bathed in darkness is a brief hell A world bathed in light is one everlasting A world bathed in neither is one void of possibility A world bathed in both is one of endless possibility

Here is a concept that is interesting to consider, in beating the darkness, should it be possible, would we only play into its game and prove it right that in the death of the darkness, we find strength?

im not gonna lie, this is a pretty whack installment

I don’t know why but it sounds like the Gardener and the winoer we’re in a relationship and had a messy divorce

Honestly this game makes me GENUINELY question the truth of what the universe is. 3 words in particular are the hallmark of what I believe is the truth of creation. "Conflict, adaptation, and evolution". Think about those 3 words and their meanings and how they are the building blocks of life. The gardener is what allowed the rule of creation, and the winnower is what forces the rule of adaptation or destruction. Think about ALL the history of humanity and tell me there isn't a formula. A hedge on the property of someone's land is beautiful, a certain "Majesty" to it. But in order for the hedge to remain beautiful, it must be trimmed, pruned, culled even using sharp enough shears. Otherwise the hedge will grow out of control and lose its beauty and form. The more the hedge grows, the more nutrients it will require to sustain itself, but the more it takes, the less it will have to sustain itself and its growth and the other plants around it will wither away and die. And then once the soil loses all or at least the basic necessites to maintain it's own fertility, the plant will also wither away and die. This is what I believe to be one of the darkness's core principles to its logic. As to the original question, of conflict, adaptation and evolution. I ask you to look at history. Human nature is conflict adaptation and evolution. War breaks out ((CONFLICT)), nations create new weapons and technology to combat each other, be it brutish force like blades, bullets, bombs etc or cunning like reconnaissance, cyberattack programs, electronic warfare devices etc.((ADAPTATION)) and finally, the technology civilian industries use that were in some respects inspired by war time weapons and technology like the computer, smartphones, self driving cars. ((EVOLUTION)) and that cycle will again breed conflict, and then the militaries will come up with designs that were inspired by civilian technology. (I do apologize for my strange ramblings over a game and its correlation with reality that I may be taking a little too seriously, but still, this universe makes me think..)

I've been out of Destiny since early January 2020 and I was looking forward to your videos for a little clarity of what has transpired since my leave and good thing you kept up the great work. It has filled in some gaps of things I noticed no longer exist and has explained some of the story lines I missed before they became no longer available to play through. I really hate that I missed some of the story line play throughs but at least got filled in as to where I am coming back at. Maybe if we are lucky we will at some point "down the road" get to play through missed content and get to experience for ourselves parts of the time line we've missed. Although I believe this is more of a dream of mine. So many weapons missed and can no longer get them in the world "my heart breaks". I feel as though the game is culminating into finality that leaves us living in a simulation or possibly a realization that we are living in a simulation only to relive everything again as some sort of a cosmic joke of wash rinse and repeat. Thank you again for your and everyone you work with in conjunction to make these videos happen. It is very much appreciated.

I have my issues with destiny 2 but the game creates this feeling of mystery and dread just at the sight of the pyramids. It's a masterclass in its atmosphere.

The Darkness is just like every other nihilist. It thinks its ideas are deep and universally significant, but they're ultimately shallow and incomplete.

I still firmly hold the belief that the Taken are the closest to a pure darkness enemy that we've ever encountered, and with the Darkness' shown abilities to corrupt, this has only emboldened that claim. Heck, now we know its practically confirmed that Oryx got the ability directly from the darkness, and the blight's similarities to the Darkness seen in the Black Garden only pushes this further. Perhaps the Taken are the closest possible physical manifestation of the darkness' power. It somewhat reminds me of the Domination ability in Shadow of Mordor/War, corruption in physical form, being able to immediately turn allies against each other within a moment
