@Ryan C Thanks again man! Nah, this wasn't made specifically for Destiny, but I was envisioning that it would be for a 2min trailer of shorts, hence the runtime. In terms of influences, I definitely was inspired by the idea of fusing Stranger Things analogue synth ideas with a more traditional modern trailer sound. I'm working on my next album at the moment, thanks again for all the support!

@Brandon Lau After I posted this I realized this wasn't your channel and figured you wouldn't see it :P Did you have any specific influences with this track? After the drop at 1:26 I get some Dark Knight style vibes, was this specifically made for the Destiny trailer? I was thinking this might explain the short runtime and general sound of it, I really like some of the unique tones you do throughout this track, it's so interesting.. keep exploring.

@Iamcrash55 actually if you look at the character clips bungie has for Variks, Erimis and the Exo Stranger you see Variks cradle a box...a box emitting a blue glow. It's also the same box the exo stranger stands next to in that bit in the trailer where Variks makes his distress call. So I suspect we get the shard from Variks early on and then the exo stranger will act as our "teacher"

You can break out anytime when frozen but it will shatter the crystal around you which deals damage. At the end of the trailer you can see the Titan breaking out.

Cayde's demise was thanks to events caused by Riven. Saying Uldren is a murderer is like saying: "guns kill people" in reality it's "people kill people" with Uldren being Riven's weapon of choice, and Cayde just being a pest in the way of her weapon.
