When he left New England, he looked around the league and chose Tampa Bay because they could supply what he needed and then got them to add Gronk, Leonard, and AB. I am writing this comment a couple of weeks after the Super Bowl in which the Tampa Bay defense basically shutdown the Mahomes and the Chiefs while TB was able to operate with almost no pressure in the pocket and score more than enough to win his 7th Super Bowl. That wasn't luck that was a 43 year old guy that knew exactly what it would take and went out and put all the pieces together.
